Potential (Incoming) Transfer List

Paschal Chukwu, 7-2, 225 lbs, Freshman Center plans on leaving Providence. To visit Kansas University the first weekend of June according to Jayhawkslant.com, also plans to visit Nebraska.

7-foot-2 center Paschal Chukwu caught many by surprise with his decision to transfer from Providence after just one season. Will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Two programs that have reportedly reached out to Chukwu are Kansas and Nebraska

A little more background on Paschal Chukwu (before enrolling at Providence)

Colleges might not look into any kid that tall, but they will look at Chukwu because of the way that he produced in Orlando. The CBC center was swatting away shot after shot, running the floor, and was one of the best hustlers on the floor; constantly being the first one to dive to the ground for a loose ball.

With so little formal basketball training, it's safe to say that the Nigerian's potential is downright frightening. His coach went on to say that, "He doesn't even know how to dunk the ball yet he's so raw, it's going to be scary how good he'll be after some time getting coached. There's no reason that he can't one day be a pro.

Forward, Austin Nichols, 6-9, 228 lbs, Junior @ Memphis to transfer. He was reportedly originally recruited by Duke. No idea if we are on his radar.

Nichols will not be released to transfer to any American Athletic Conference school, any school on the Tigers' future schedules and/or Tennessee, Providence, Iowa or Virginia, a source told CBSSports.com............

Nichols averaged 13.3 points and 6.1 rebounds last season for the Tigers.

He projected as their best returning player.

I read this morning (local paper... no link) that upon appeal, Memphis has dropped their block on transfer destinations. Austin Nichols can now transfer anywhere.
