After a rough season for our Huskers, seeing both Dallas miss out on the playoffs -- and then the Patriots with an early playoff exit -- has me believing all is still fine in the world of sports.
I feel bad for Burkhead, but it was so sweet to watch the Patriots lose.
Burkhead already has a Super Bowl ring. That's a pretty select group of former Huskers that can say that. He'll be fine.

Back in the day when we were REALLY good.....this is how people thought about us losing also.
The only thing, and I mean literally, the only thing that can keep the Pats overinflated empire afloat is if Brady signs a FA contract with your ugly ass team.I'm glad my Pats gave the starved teams out there a chance. We will regroup and come back stronger. It is not over yet my friends. But enjoy your time.
