Watched the movie last night, and it really wasn't that good. One of the most interesting things to me, about the movie, was the fact that in two separate parts of the movie, it highlighted Nebraska v NW and Paterno watching that game in his living room, studying the game, and finding out that Sandusky situation had blown up, and then, highlighting Nebraska again when we played PSU and beat them 17 - 14. I had completely forgot that we were actually up, 17 - 0 in that game. Sandusky needs to rot in Hell.

I do not have HBO so I haven't seen the movie. In the movie did they bring up anything about the former prosecutor that was on to Sandusky years earlier that went missing?

I am going to say no, they did not. This movie, dealt essentially with Paterno, and when he knew. This movie made it seem that he knew all the way back in 1998 and essentially shrugged it off. They end the movie with the reporter getting a call that said he was molested way back in 1976.

I have followed this story pretty closely. I believe that Paterno knew back in 1998. That was about the time Sandusky resigned (1999) from the coaching staff to run his charity. The Freeh report states that Paterno knew about an investigation of Sandusky's behavior in 1998 and followed it closely.
