I have to thank my friend from Northwest Missouri who is also a Husker fan for sending this to me. It is a list of the top RBs and how many went "out of their region" to play ball. I believe out of region was defined as outside your conference footprint. Truly is amazing how we do so well nationally with little to pull from. SEC has Florida and Texas. BigXII has Texas. Pac-12 has California. I'm honestly very surprised we don't have one of the highest recruiting budgets in the country....

Another observation is that Stanford, Oregon, and christian/catholic schools seem to not have a problem. Oregon uniforms, Stanford academics, and Notre Dame obviously have advantages....

Interesting to see how many of those names haven't done anything, especially some at the top. Just goes to show that nothing is guaranteed at the next level no matter your rank.

I was thinking the same thing as I was looking at the lists. Some of those names I didn't hear again after they signed with their respective schools.

Thanks *** for the lists.
