NU led 3-2 going to the bottom of the 7th. Washington tied it in the bottom of the 7th, and won 4-3 in the bottom of the 8th with a walk off HR.

Got home to late to watch game.....sucks to lose that way. Long ways to go in losers bracket.

We should have won the game but our right fielder dove for a ball instead of keeping it in front of her. Went from having a single with one out, to a triple with one out. They did a suicide squeeze to tie the game. If that runner is on first they don't tie that game up. Too bad...
There were several plays in the bottom of the 7th that could have saved the game for NU.

I can't talk about this yet......poorest played inning I have seen
DVR'd it, and watched it later in the evening. Man, what a bummer!! That triple to rt was one, fat pitch!! She is only a freshman, and she will polish her game, to where she will be an elite pitcher. She made 3rd string in the conference. Hope she can put it behind her.
The problem is, Tatum Edwards walks too many!! Rhonda had no choice but to yank her.
Losers bracket does suck! Never say die. They beat Okla this season, so they know how to win the big one, for sure! Ask Oregon.
