It wasn't all that long ago that NSD in February was the most anticipated day of the offseason. Now it's kind of an afterthought, with 90% of most classes signing in a December.
Imagine seven more weeks of sweating out the Dylan Raiola commitment. And then imagine how many top recruits Raiola might have been able to bring with him if he still flipped in December and could peer recruit for seven weeks before anyone could sign.

They are really stockpiling talent. Unfortunately with those numbers there will be significant roster churn, but that is the way of the world now. I'd rather have too many to choose from than not enough to have a good team
