Nebraska shot to a strong start after their 10 day lay-off. Their 33-point margin matched its largest in history in a Big Ten Conference game.
As a team, Nebraska hit 47.8 percent (33-69) of its shots from the field, including 32 percent (8-25) from three-point range. The Huskers also hit 3-of-6 free throws. The Big Red out-rebounded the Badgers 43-35 and won the turnover battle, 18-9. NU held UW to just 32.1 percent (18-56) shooting, including just 3-of-22 (.136) from three-point range. The Badgers did hit 5-of-7 free throws. Sydney Hilliard led Wisconsin with a game-high 16 points, while Julie Pospisilova added 12 points.

Because of the rare double-header, men's basketball ticket holders for the Wisconsin game will be able to attend the women's game and sit in select general admission areas (sections 111-113 & 122-102) free of charge. Fans will need to exit PBA following the men's game before re-entry at any door prior to the women's game. Doors for the women's game will open at 7 p.m.

Huskers Return Home to Battle Badgers - University of Nebraska
Following a 10-day competitive layoff due to health and safety protocols, Nebraska will return to action Thursday night to battle the Wisconsin Badgers as part of

The Huskers will celebrate Australia Night on Thursday with 700 fans receiving posters featuring Nebraska's trio of Australians - Isabelle Bourne, Jaz Shelley and Ruby Porter.
Nebraska will be looking forward to the return of Jaz Shelley after missing the game at Iowa (COVID protocols). Shelley is the only Big Ten player to rank in the conference's top in scoring (13.8 ppg), rebounding (7.5 rpg), assists (4.4 apg), blocks (1.2 bpg) and steals (1.8 spg). Her parents are expected to be in attendance for the first time on Thursday.
The Huskers are also looking forward to the return of Sam Haiby, who missed much of Indiana and Iowa games with a shoulder sprain. Haiby is averaging 11.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.7 steals.
Marisa Moseley brings her first Wisconsin team to Lincoln to face Nebraska. Moseley has guided the Badgers to a 5-13 overall record and a 2-6 Big Ten mark after notching a strong 69-57 win over Penn State in Madison (Jan. 23).
• The Badgers have won two of their past three Big Ten games, including their first road win with a 49-45 victory at Rutgers (Jan. 16).
• Wisconsin has struggled to score throughout the season, averaging just 58.6 points per game, but the Badgers have been solid defensively, surrendering just 66.4 points per game. UW is shooting 40 percent from the field as a team, including just 30.6 percent (105-343) from three-point range while hitting just 5.8 threes per contest. However, the Badgers buried 10-of-22 three-pointers in Sunday's victory over Penn State.
