Neutral Site games in Las Vegas

Hilarious. Of the 3 quotes, only REDo showed any sense of humor. Of course I even called Vegas by it's nickname, Sin City and also said I'd go watch the Knights, the Raiders and a Huskers game if they somehow played there. LV doesn't compare to any of the other cities mentioned for several of what should be obvious reasons. HAHAHA, two out of 3 of you took my post personally, I think that that is cute.

Oh, I was not replying directly to you otherwise I would have quoted you. It was at all the people who are incapable of seeing LV for more than just gambling, hookers, and blow.

C

Fair enough. Thanks for the reply.

And don't get me wrong, I love hookers and blow.

'Sin City' is a generic term to me.

This I shouldn't even share, but it's so phucking disgusting, that I feel that now I must. Literally the first time I had ever been to Vegas, whatever I ate that day didn't sit so well in me belly. The closest place to me was a MacDonalds and it was all I could do to make it into the bathroom. After several grunts and oh God's with some foul, foul odors lingering in the air, this crackhead m'fer grabs the top of the stall, jumps up and says, "HEY! YOU WANNA PARTY?" I said something like, "I don't think so, I've got the wife and kids waiting in the car." This dumb sick twist wanted me to let him into the stall. I told him to back the eff up, promptly wiped, rushed straight to my car, locked the doors and peeled out of the parking lot. That was the worst experience I've ever had in that town.

Valley of Fire State Park.
Is the most fun I've had in that area.... It was super freaking hot, but we ran into very few others, and that's always nice when hiking.

Ironically, I've heard that Vegas has a very good restaurant scene. I watch a lot of food network and they visit a lot of restaurants that get high reviews. Of course the cheap buffets probably skew a lot of people's ratings, but what I've read suggests there are good eats there if you research. Again, I've never been there so I'm just going off what I've seen on TV and read online. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/06/18/bookingcoms-top-food-cities-in-america-and-what-to-eat-there.html

I believe this to be true, as I've had some really good meals in Vegas. I seriously just don't recall what I had eaten that day, but the results of it sucked. LOL. If you like Italian food, give Capo's a try if yer ever in Sin City, it's a fun place and the food is delissimo.

I should also add, that one of the best meals I've had was at the Venetian's Tao restaurant. The service was top notch and the food was off the hook good.

As opposed to LA, San Fran, Seattle, Portland, DC, Baltimore, Miami, or any other large city in the United States. All the adjectives you mention are alive and well in any city in America.
Vegas is a different level of dirty. (I am not talking morally I am talking actually dirty) If you do go there walk down the street on the strip from one casino to another. The streets are disgusting. Most do not notice it because they drive or cab from one casino to another.

Not IMO Thom, I find it to be pretty similar. Probably one of the dirtiest downtown areas I have experienced is Portland. Seattle is cleaner, but has about 3x the hippy drug users hanging out in and around Pikes Place. LA, Hollywood Blvd is disgusting. I would rather have me kids on the Vegas Strip than in LA in Hollywood, Sunset Strip or Santa Monica Peer. There are a lot more cops around. Never been to NYC but my SIL says it is the dirtiest place she has ever been. Dirt just spews up from the subway grates when the trains pass under.

The big difference is that I feel safer in Vegas. You walk up and down the strip and it is very busy, but it is 90% tourist doing exactly the same thing you are doing. If you don't like cities and lots of people Vegas isn't for you. It's fake, but that is what it is suppose to be. I have never experienced anything like HHS said he experienced in Vegas.

I think he means prostitute flyers.

The 'dirtiness' is part of the charm imo. Its not for kids no matter what Circus-Circus and New York-New York has built. I mean I have taken my kids there and we have done the family-friendly things that are offered. But at night, they are playing video games in the hotel room while we are out doing adult things.

No, he is talking dirt. Read post 23. I agree Vegas is not a family friendly place. During the late 90's and early 00's they were really trying to push the family vacation thing. I think they found that it wasn't helping their bottom line. They have since swung back to a little more traditional Vegas. The biggest change I have seen is that in the early 90's most casinos had scantily clad girls dancing in the casinos at night. That all went away for a while and then all of a sudden it was back in the casinos.

Prostitute flyers all over the sidewalk is both moral dirt and actual dirt.

Vegas will host the Super Bowl, the College National Championship Game, an early season college match up and a yearly college bowl game as soon as the stadium is built. Teams may have to increase their security budget by 500% when their teams play there.

Been finding gems all over that town off the strip.

To the OP. We would not give up a home game for a neutral site. So it would have to be the other team giving up their home in a contract. We make way too much cash on home games. That being said it would be good for recruiting. close to CA, AZ, UT (lots of PI in UT).
