No worries, C-Bob. NU will be in the tournament. Now, if they actually play well ... that's another story. :)
 
Man what a disappointment. I feel bad for the kids, but man, you got to produce in crunch time. Will be interesting to see if they make the tourney. If not, what a sucky way to end the season. :lazybannana: It's gonna be a long summer.....
 
The post-season sucktitude continues with another awful tournament performance.

With all of the built-in advantages Nebraska enjoyed this week, this is incredibly frustrating.

And my response CB....
Normally, hot pitching would do the trick, even with decent bats, but we essentially had no bats, and our pitching failed when it needed to just hold tight. BLAH!!! Hopefully, a 37 - 20 record gets us an invite anywho.

Despite our finish at #2, it was a tight quality grouping of teams in the Big 10 tournament mix. Our margin for error wasn't there even playing well WITH our only all-league first teamer in Schreiber in the lineup. We neither had him nor played well in these two games, hence the outcome. Agree, a huge disappointment (underachievement) given the locale. Hope it's not over for 2016 with a chance to maybe play loose and surprise someone in a regional.
