I have a Harley Electra Glide I ride every chance I can.
Just wondering if anyone one huskermax ride.
Or even build motorcycles.
I'm thinking about rebuilding old Harleys.
Maybe a pan head.
Not sure.
I need a new hobby.

I do love motorcycles and working on them.

Anyone? Comments.
Pictures of your motorcycles.

Bought a Sportster 1200 right after high school in '93. Put big tank, fenders, fork on it to emulate a "big" bike. Quit riding when my kids were small as so many motorcyclists were getting killed (and still are at an alarming rate) here in Lincoln. Still have it, but after so many years of sitting neglected, it would need to be completely gone through...not worth the expense for a sportster.

Last kiddo is a Sophomore in HS, so may get the gumption to ride again. A Heritage Softail or something like that.

I had a 1993 Softail Custom FXSTF that I put about 30,000 miles on. Then sold it ( shouldn't have ) and bought a 1998 Fat Boy ( 95th Anniversary Edition ) that I put probably 10,000 mile on. Sold that one in 2005...........shouldn't have.

I'm an idiot.

I've owned one motorcycle; a Kawasaki 100 I purchased new in 1970 in Mt Home, ID. Had a blast riding in the mountains and in the desert. In the desert I had to keep my eyes opened for rattlesnakes and in the mountains for fallen trees on the trails. Sold it when I got orders to Vietnam later that year. Never acquired another one but the memories have not faded.

Had several over the years, but this was the last one. (Stock picture as I don’t have any digital pictures of my bike)

2001 Road King Classic. Loved that bike. Rode like a dream. Sold it in 2010 when I decided I wasn’t going to live if I rode it in Charlotte. Where I’m at now in South Carolina, I’ve got easy access to some really nice rural two lanes. Wish I still had it…in March-May and October-November. It’s too damned hot to ride down here in the summer.

Have always like the look of the Road Kings.

Me too ! "Trail Boss". Unique 5 x 2 =10 transmission and rotary 2-stroke fuel. Weak link, cheapo front forks and thus bent

I used to be a motorcross racer a LONG time ago (+50 years !)

My semi-sponsor bikes ......

Penton 250. Early '70s. Built in USA except KTM engine (Austria). Pretty good handling and power but kinda heavy.
iu

1980 Yamaha YZ250. I believe the first mono-x suspension. Overall, the best.
iu

1972? Maico 250. Built in Germany (bankrupt in 1985). Excellent engine & handling but clutch/trans ..... terrible
iu

1974 Honda CR250 Elsinore bike. First 2-stroke Honda engine. Poor poor handling ..... I hate it.
iu

Suzuki TM250 ..... 1970 or so. Ditto Honda CR250 ...... terrible
