Was watching the Redskins- Cowboys game last night.

Alex Smith ran an option pitch play and Tony Romo began waxing a dialogue on Tommy Frazier ... Jim Nantz commented that he called the NC game against Florida in 1996 ... they were trying to remember the score ...

Then ex-Husker Maher proceeded to miss a 52 yard kick at the end of regulation to tie the game!

  • Completed 25 of 29 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns, with his 86.2 completion percentage setting a school record for single-game completion percentage with a minimum of 20 attempts and breaking a record that had stood for 44 years
  • Added a career-high 125 rushing yards, including one touchdown and a career-long 53-yard carry
  • Records his first Freshman of the Week award
