The greatest rushing performance in the history of Rockhurst High School played a key role in the Class 6 defending state champion’s 35-20 victory at Peve Stadium Friday night.
Senior running back Jordan Walker scored five times and carried the ball 34 times for a school-record 418 yards as the top-ranked Hawklets ran over, around and through the Wildcats defense.
“We couldn’t stop him,â€￾ said Blue Springs quarterback and linebacker Kyle Brown, who was in on several tackles against Walker. “He had one of those nights you don’t forget.â€￾
He had one of those night that give coaches nightmares.

Hey, Full. Not as of right now, we're not. With the small class, and the haul we took last year - They're only taking the best of the best at offensive line. While Rockhurst has a number of talented guys on the line, none have shown elite status yet.

As for Walker - absolutely. He'll never forget that game last night. Good for him, and a great start for a stacked Rockhurst team. State bound.

A combination of Rose and your comments on Rockhurst. I want to reestablish the pipeline and think we are well on the way. When a back gets yardage like Walker did, somebody was blocking.

That is big night. We had a running back here that was the fastest player at the SPARQ competition Dare Johnson that is going to TCU run for 377 yards on only 13 carries and 5 catches for 55 yards and only won 28-26.
