I took it as if roles where reversed. As in if Martinez was the freshman and Luke was the two year starter.
McCaffrey has a really small sample size for us fans to make a judgement on ... I do hope though this is more about AM returning to the AM of 2018!
Point being you know damned good and well Luke has improved, so 2AM must have as well. Going forward we'll see how things shake out.
Unless LM had been noticeably better then AM in practice, it only makes sense to start AM at OSU and see where it goes from there. Sounds like we're in a decent QB situation though. If history has shown us anything we are going to need them both this year.
In all likelihood our offense will have difficulty moving the ball against the OSU defense (regardless of who starts at QB) leaving our defense in a bad spot. I know they're supposed to be rebuilding on defense, but let's be honest. They're just reloading. If we're down 3 or more scores at half look for Frost to make the switch, for no other reason than to see if one QB can provide more of a "spark" than the other. I'll be happier than anyone on this board to eat my words if we make a game of it.
