This team had to learn to win. Winning at home with the crowd on your side is one thing but that doesn't translate to road wins. They had to figure out the formula, the common denominator, to winning on road games and they did. Energy. Solid defense and realizing that team work on the floor will quiet a hostile crowd. They got more confident each away game until good things started happening. Losing an OT game sucks but they could build from that. Fred should be Big Ten coach of the year.
