Leftover Salmon

No comments from anyone at all? I had just heard these guys on a local station, and thought they sounded pretty damn good. Would love to see them live, hopefully soon.

They've been a staple on the jam band scene for decades. I saw them twice in the '90s. They're fun and put on a good show but they give me a little bit of ear fatigue after a few songs.

I saw where they have been around for some 25 years now. I just heard them for the first time the other night. I am digging just about all of what I've heard so far. I'm hoping that they play somewhere close to here sometime soon. Love the sound and style they have.

They're worth checking out if they are in your area. I'm usually pretty harsh on jam bands because, IMO, they're a dime a dozen and far too many of them are nothing more than "wheedle-y, wheedle-y" solos ad nauseam, without much substance. Also, it's tiresome when the "Relix" crowd crowns every band as the next big thing. However, I think these guys are better than your average hippie band.

Nice. I understand your thoughts on jam bands, as most people I know essentially feel the same way. They are knew to me, so, I am at this point digging them quite a lot. Not sure that they will play anywhere near me, but if they do, I will do my best to go see them.

By chance, I happen to find out today that they are going to be coming for two nights in a small casino on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe just after Christmas. I'm stoked about it, tickets are only like $30 bucks. I will be there as it's less than a couple hours from me. So cool. So looking forward to it.
