I was at that game. Me and my dad sat (stood) in the student section because it's the only tickets we could find!

While the stadium's capacity was 72K at the time, it was the loudest I have ever heard Memorial - before or after. We were slightly underneath the east balcony lower level and the stadium was quite literally tremoring a bit when Crouch caught the ball and headed south.

It was a moment together that me and my dad will never forget. He has a color photo of Crouch running toward that end zone, and when I see it, it brings back a flood of memories.

How can anyone say OU was overrated? They were the defending National Champs on a 20-game win streak.

I'm just going from memory here...OU QB was really dinged up. He was terribly ineffective. IIRC, he was dinged up before our game, and they just hadn't had it catch up with them prior to that.
