Just finished watching the NU/CU game.

there so many items, that if just one had went our way, we win that game.... ive been too P.O.ed to even read any articles or post anything to this board until today.

The Huskers pulled off a near miracle by almost beating them.

after the South Alabama game, one surely thought we would need Lady Luck to avoid getting massacred.
At best overly hyperbolic and at worst totally revisionist history.

I rewatched the 2nd half last night (with the sound off and a couple of beers).

Colorado figured out that our Offensive Tackles are really bad in pass pro. On passing downs, they continuously overloaded the edges and our tackles did not have the athleticism or speed to stop them.

Also, whenever we played a true 3-4 alignment, our defense played very well. When we played the 4-3 look, we got shredded.

And the play calling... stink, stank, STUNK!!!

One way to manage that is to run some hard IZ and some delayed inside runs as well to use the gaps they leave when they rush like that. We really didn't do well in our adjustments. A lot of breakdowns in different areas are limiting us, no doubt

yes, agree... the inside running game could have gained an easy 8 yards against that double stacked outside rush. Only problem was that we were usually behind the chains.

Did anybody else notice that on CUs first touchdown, we only had 10 guys on the field. Dismuke came out hurt and no one replaced him.
