Newby with 22 carries fro 143 yards....his team leads 21-17 late third quarter....on Channle 693 on Direct TV.....
 



Game is only through three quarters....he is a stud and a work-horse...giving him the ball on just about every down....he has over 170 yards rushing....hsi team trails 24-21...

For those who missed this game it will be reshown at 2PM CST on Monday 3 December on Channel 693 on Direct TV....

Worth a watch to see Newby who is very, very good....
 




Newby is his teams whole offense....they have failed to convert on 4th down on their last two drives....both were in FG range and they have a good kicker....
 
Newby's school loses a heartbreaker 30-28....you have to question going for it twice on 4th down inside the 20 and a questionable onside kick call at the end doomed them....Newby had a very good game....not sure of his total yardage...but in the high 100's....

Rough looking field conditions from rain made it tough to play tonight too....

Not too mention they have a really good field goal kicker too.

Of all the running back highlights I've seen this recruiting cycle (haven't seen Taylor), Newby's are easily the most impressive. Getting him would be a thrill.
 

Taylor is equally impressive....Taylor is ranked the #20 RB in the country and Newby is #16....so it would quite a haul to get both...
