The Nebraska baseball team appears on its way to making a quiet exit from the Big 12 Conference.

The last-place Cornhuskers are in danger of missing the postseason tournament for the third year in a row and struggling to remain relevant among fans as they head toward their future in the Big Ten, where the sport is almost an afterthought.
