Nebraska returns to play tonight, as the Huskers welcome North Dakota State to Hawks Field at Haymarket Park.
First pitch between the Huskers and Bison is set for 6:05 p.m.

Huskers had bags loaded in 1st inning
Only managed 1 run
Top of 2nd, Bisons had men on 2nd/3rd but
could not score, as Will struck out the batter
on a 3rd called strike to end the inning.

Run was scored without a hit! Walks and hbp
brought in the lone run. In fact, Huskers never hit the
ball anywhere until the btm of the 2nd inning.
3 k's by Bisons did the Huskers in, in the 1st
inning!!

Wow!!!

Joshua got a single top of 2nd. With two outs
he was thrown out at 2nd, when the throw was
to the right side of 2nd, 2nd baseman, reached out to tag
him before he could slide safely!! Go figure!! Bad
throw by the C and he is out!! :Eek:
hbp and 3 bbs in a row gave us the run. After that
Trapini rhp struck out the side!

Trapini went into the 3rd inning, and was relieved
by Ligenberg rhp. Sanderson was hbp.

Garrett singled up middle for Husker's 2nd run. Both
rbi go to Garrett, who walked in the 1st inning, bringing
in the 1st run for the Huskers.
