It was bad. But I think Bolt deserves a mulligan or two. Last year was more enjoyable as an NU baseball fan than it had been in over a decade. And I'd still take Bolt over Erstad. I don't think Erstad was bad -- but I believe the ceiling is higher for Bolt -- or at least he needs more time to prove this year was a fluke.
 

I think the ceiling is quite high on Bolt. I loved the hire when it was made and I still do. ‘In our grit our glory’ was made for Bolt. I love how he prioritizes NE kids but is willing to go juco when needed. I pretty much love everything about him (even his boys being bat boys —I swear they are all head and legs).

No matter what, he gets two more years in my book. I just want to see a team that fights and wants to play. At times that was missing this year.

Shortage of helium, once more. They are blaming the conflict in the Ukraine. I guess, a lot of helium is used in conflict? Not sure what for, though. Anyone?

As my wife also mentioned, the balloons being dispersed all over the country is considered a hazard. (Do not shoot the messenger, please? :Whiteflag: )

I sure hope it was a "fluke". Lord, help us. It was so hard to stay focused on the internet, calling the games. Especially, when I had to do all 9 innings!! That was really tough. :(
