"Three Huskers are in a combined four events contributing to Nebraska's score of 27.62 in the TFRI.

Axelina Johansson ranks third in the shot put (59-9 3/4, 18.23m), while Jenna Rogers is currently eighth in the country with a clearance of 6-0 (1.83m). Taylor Latimer sits 29th nationally in the shot put (53-8 1/4, 16.36m) and weight throw (68-0 1/2, 20.74m)."

The only other B1G team ranked is OSU at #14.

"Mikaelle Assani and Darby Thomas leaped into the top-10 in school history in the long jump. Assani finished fifth in the long jump invite with a mark of 21-1 1/4 (6.43m), while Thomas won the open long jump with a distance of 20-9 (6.32m). Assani climbed to No. 3 in program history, first in the Big Ten and ninth nationally this season. Thomas jumped to second in the Big Ten and cracked the Top 10 with the tenth-farthest jump in program history.

Lishanna Ilves had a distance of 20-7 3/4 (6.29m) to place fourth in the open long jump, followed by Ashley McElmurry in eighth (19-10 3/4, 6.06m). In the men's long jump, Michael Hoffer had a seventh-place leap of 24-9 3/4 (7.56m).

Taylor Latimer finished second in the weight throw with a toss of 63-7 (19.38m) and Marika Spencer placed third with a throw of 62-2 1/2 (18.96m)"
 
The Women appeared in the national poll for the second straight week and improved four spots to No. 18 with a score of 35.90.

Huskers Win 12 Titles at Nebraska Tune-Up​

Darby Thomas had a career-best long jump of 21-5 1/2 (6.54m) on her second attempt to win the event. It moved her into the top 10 in school history at No. 3 and ranks first in the Big Ten and tied for seventh nationally this season. Thomas' jump was the best indoor long jump by a Husker woman since 1997.

Marika Spencer led a 1-2-3 finish in the women's weight throw with a standout performance. Spencer notched a throw of 67-11 1/2 (20.71m) on her fifth attempt, a new personal best that ranks second in school history. Taylor Latimer, who is the school-record holder in the event, took second at 67-9 1/2 (20.66m), and Axelina Johansson recorded a new personal best of 63-8 1/4 (19.41m) to crack the NU top 10 at No. 7.

Lishanna Ilves was the long jump runner-up at 20-7 1/4 (6.28m), and LaQwasia Stepney took third place at 20-3 3/4 (6.19m), a new personal best. The NU women swept the top five spots in both the long jump and the shot put. The latter event was led by Latimer's winning throw of 53-7 1/2 (16.34m). Kalynn Meyer was the runner-up with a PR of 52-4 1/2 (15.96m), and Spencer was third at 46-11 1/2 (14.31m).

Lindsey Blehm was the runner-up in the 800 meters in 2:14.93.

Hugg, Karlie Moore, Winsome Harris and Ramonia Clarke teamed up to run a 3:45.81 to win the women's 4x400m relay.
