Since moving to the B1G I have discounted all the bunk about us not being able to recruit in Texas, but this week I read somewhere that Mizzou is having a great deal of difficulty recruiting Texas because recruits' families aren't sure they will be able to see their kids play. How is going for us this year? I haven't read a thing about what we're doing in Texas.

Our quarterback recruit Tommie Armstrong, who I expect to commit soon, is from Texas.....I don't think it has been an issue for us...we are recruiting more nationwide this year....with such a small class we have to be picky....didn't hurt us last year...Green, Turner etc....then again we are Nebraska....big difference than Mizzou...

BTN may be a real plus for us with parents across the country. They'll be able to see every game from home plus other shows. The network is nothing short of fabulous and will only get better.

Given the fact nobody knows where TX will be conference wise, I think we have as good a shot as ever with these guys.
