He was going to have a sit a year anyway so this gives him time to look for a school that he can fit in with....and I agree he will end up somewhere at a school that is willing to give him a second chance....
He even got into it with some players during his recruiting visit.
I think you are correct. I know nothing first or even secondhand, but I seem to recall seeing that referenced somewhere. Should have just passed on him from the get-go, if that's the case.
