I think some people throw DVH out for the same reason you always here “we have big ten money now” as if it’s an unlimited money tree. Pretty far-fetched tho.Yeah, I think he's just on lists because he's been here before -- but otherwise, 0% chance. He left for Arkansas because he wanted to return to his alma mater. And he's been a huge success there. He's a super regional series win from returning to coach his 6th CWS as HC of the Hogs. There's no reason to leave that. Let alone the fact that the odds of DVH being able to be as successful in Lincoln with NU in the Big Ten as he was with NU in the Big 12 are slim to none (none is the correct answer).

Him or the guy at Hutch crossed my mind. Don't know if that would qualify for what Moos is looking for I suppose.
Don't know a lot about college baseball, I guess my football brain just thought what a good connection with Iowa Western. But I guess whatever Moos thinks is probably best, his butt on the line, not mine.
Hiring the Hutch JUCO guy would result in a major culture shift. Big differences between building a JUCO team and a D1 team.
I'm gonna play the 'Match Game' and say that these yearly baseball records are IWCC coach's records from 2001-2019.

so I am a little challenged technically sometimes, but yes, although I am not sure how long he has been there is was more to show what their record has been over a long period of time.

I remember watching him play in A ball with the Durham Bulls in the late 90s. That's all I got on Rich Maloney.
