Sounds good. Fred has some open slots to do another rebuild.
I believe there are five open slots currently. Fred should be in an even better position than last year to attract the talent with the skills that we need to fill the holes in our roster from the portal.
Fred had mentioned in a press conference that our run at the end of the season last year helped to recruit our current transfers. (And we all know how that turned out, resulting in our 23 win season and return to the Tournament.)

We should be careful with this guy. According to various news sources within a few months of getting to Madison Yalden was cited in two separate instances, first underage drinking in public then smoking pot in a dorm room. Then he apparently takes a leave from the team in early November. When he comes back, though not redshirting, Gard decides not to let him travel to road games or the NCAA tourney due to what the athletic department calls a “coach’s decision”.
The paper in Madison said “Yalden’s decision ends a peculiar saga in Madison for the 6-foot-9 Appleton native.”
He’s got talent but adding him might just be hoping he’s a guy who can get it together rather than counting on him to contribute. Fred did that with Royce White and it worked so who knows.
