Wasn't that long ago I could have gotten you a couple hundred pounds a day.
It was bread and butter pickle day. Seems like the only thing I have going real well is cucumbers, so it's time to start stocking the fridge with refrigerator pickles.
They say putting horse manure on the strawberries give them a better taste. I'm going back to whip cream
Well, I got my garden tilled this week. Every year, it seems to become a little more like work, lol. Looking to plant potatoes, onions, carrots and radishes this weekend.
I'm trying to get raspberries to grow.
I really love the purple ones, but have struggled to get them established.
Also want to get yellow raspberries growing. Put in a plant last year, and it turned out to be red raspberries. Well shitt, ok, but not what I waited. But that plant produced well, and is propagating like crazy, so I'm transplanting, and establishing a red raspberry garden.
Planted ANOTHER yellow (hopefully)raspberry this spring. Hoping it propagates as well. If so, I'll establish a separate garden for yellow raspberries.
Brother gave me some runners out of his purple raspberry patch. Hoping to get some of them to establish.
Finally, trying my luck with blackberries as well. Planted my first one this week
