Yes, it was!! I once caught a soft ball, being only 6 or 7 feet from the batter! Caught it with complete instinct!! Wild!! LOL She said, how did you know where to stand? I told her, "if I told you, I would have to kill you"!! LOL

Best reaction I ever did in Baseball….
HS Night game and our field did not have the greatest lights.
I was a catcher.
A guy hit a pop foul way high in the air and toward the backstop.
At first, I could not find the ball because of the lighting…
Then I saw it way back at the backstop and sprinted as fast as I could, and dived stretching my mitt out.
Somehow, and I’ll never figure out how….the ball fell in my mitt. My head and shoulder slammed against the backstop and the ball didn’t fall out. For some strange reason, I wasn’t hurt.
I guess the good Lord looks after idiots.
There was a girl sitting in the stands that night I was absolutely trying to impress.
It worked!! I got a date with her the next Saturday!
