To get us started:
Mexican soft tacos:
1 16 oz jar of salsa (pick the kind you like).
1 can of chicken broth
mix together in a pot and bring to a boil.
Add 2 cups of rice and cook until water is absorbed or boils off.
Put rice mixture into tortilla shells, add shredded cheese and enjoy.
If you want a little more substance and have the time, you can add cooked chicken portions into the rice mixture.
so how much water do we put in the pot?
and is the rice already cooked or will it be cooked when put in the pot?
No water - the chicken broth takes care of cooking the rice in the mixture. It really is as simple as it sounds.
Not quite 4 ingredients, but here is a good one:
Quick Game Day Nachos:
1lb hamburger
1 packet taco seasoning
16 oz Guacamole
24 oz Salsa (to your taste)
1 lb each Mexican cheese & Cheddar Cheese (pre-shredded)
2 bags of Tortilla chips (of your choice)
Cook & drain the hamburger
Add the seasoning packet & water, cook off the water
Line a baking sheet pan with aluminum foil
Spread one bag of chips on the pan
Spread half of the meat and cheese on the chips
Spread the other bag of chips on the pan
Spread the other half of the meat and cheese on the chips
Bake at 350 for 10 min
Pour salsa over the melted cheese
Put dollops of guacamole & sour cream all over the salsa
Set out plates, grab a beer & enjoy

Chicken
rice
cream of chicken soup
water
salt & pepper to taste
Put it all in a glass baking dish and bake at about 350 degrees it until it looks done (30-45 minutes for boneless chicken, maybe longer if it has bones). I don't know the amounts... just put stuff in until it looks about right. Should be one can of soup, about 1 1/2 cups of water, and maybe a cup of uncooked rice. If it doesn't turn out quite right, try using more or less of something next time. Hard to screw up.
