Favorite movie

This is a really hard subject for me. I like movies in general, and am fairly entertained with most that I watch. To say I have a favorite is hard, because I like most. It just depends on the mood I am at the time.

I do get tired of movies though. I haven't watch the Shawshank Redemption in a long time just because I have seen it so many times, same goes for Braveheart.

Been watching James Bond lately whenever it is on with Daniel Craig, Skyfall and Casino Royal are excellent. I love this take on Bond, it is done much closer to what Flemming's view of the character was.

Someone mentioned Fifth Element, that is a very underrated movie. I love Sci-Fi that doesn't take itself to seriously.

What's your favorite Burt Reynolds movie?

Mine is a little known cop movie that he directed and stared in from the early 80's called Sharkey's Machine. Check it out it is a great movie.

There is one movie that I hated when it first came out, in fact despised it and for some reason I have come around to not only like the movie, I would go so far and call it a great film. Stanley Kubrick's last film

Eye's Wide Shut

That said

The Godfather & 2

Rear Window

North by Northwest

Shane

The Sting

also for shites and giggles The Towering Inferno

No particular order:

Shawshank
Patton
The Devil's Brigade
Band of Brothers
The Hunt for Red October
Where Eagles Dare
Caddyshack
Sixteen Candles
Animal House
Any of the Bond movies
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Many of Mel Brooks flicks
The Ocean's Trilogy
The Dirty Dozen
Force 10 from Navarone

The movie that made the most impact on me growing up was The Exorcist, Scared the crap out of me. I had a hard time going to sleep at night after watching this at the theater, worried about the devil.
This clip is R rated.

So many to choose from, honestly anything I can watch time and time again would fit in my “favorite” list.
A partial glimpse in no particular order, and trying to stay away from off mentioned titles.

Stand By Me
O Brother Where Art Thou
Heavy Metal
Porkys
We Were Soldiers
The Longest Day
Deadpool
Toy Story
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
The Human Centipede
