If the B1G/NCAA allows some form of continued practice through this time maybe it won't turn out as bad as it could. But then, that would be an admission there was no good reason to cancel everything at this time.
Silver lining: If nobody is allowed to practice, that will start to offset all our lost practices from missing bowl games.
The NCAA should be thinking of ways to try to even the playing field a little if other teams are practicing (and getting ready to play) and letting the schools control it.
These kids are going outside of the quasi-bubble now. Let them have something to look forward to and be a part of some safer structure with daily testing and safety protocols that were already in place and working for those who took it seriously and adhered to them like the Huskers seem to have.
This may be the point at which the NCAA behind to really, really show their relevancy, or (as most of us feel), their irrelevancy. Maybe this is the tipping point that is necessary to burn it to the ground and figure out what the future (where it is heading anyway) looks like.
