FYI.....

The Big Ten released its all-conference teams as selected by coaches and the media earlier this month. We didn't have a vote for the media teams, and we don't pretend to know as much about football as the league's coaches.

But we can also say with confidence that we watched more Big Ten football here at the blog than anyone else. So here are our picks for the 2013 ESPN.com All-Big Ten team:

Does ESPN have to be into EVERYTHING? Now they are naming the all conference teams and some people care? The only two all-conference teams that matter are the coaches' and the conference sportswriters'. imho, that is.

Agree. It's rather meaningless. It's the opinion of two guys, one of which has become not-so-subtle with his displeasure of having to cover NU. However, ESPN needs content, and fans need something to bitch about.

Good Lord! Our best OL went down with an injury. Our second-best OL also went down with an injury. OL players get recognized because of the overall success of their respective OLs.
