Chase was a four-star recruit out of high school, checking in as the No. 200 overall player in the nation according to 247Sports and the top player out of the state of Washington.

[Troy] Walters was Chase's primary recruiter and one of the reasons he left Union High in the Pacific Northwest and chose Nebraska over Utah, Boise State and others.

Top 200 and didn't see much playing time at our worst position. Either he's not that good or we are horrible at id'ing talent.

This is the kind of transfer situation I'm never sad about. Kid sounds like he knows where he priorities need to be - beyond just football.
