This was a tough week, our third most difficult statistically. Boy its a good thing I don't have to prove I'm any good at picking these games to run the contest. This time I was an Dufus Picker of the Week. I only got 2 correct, but I'm grateful for the company from HuskerLarry, TnHusker87 and mjohnson. mjohnson copied what looked like my post with my same picks. Sure, its a legal entry...but I don't advise it! Anyway, we all suck. And so much for picking my alma mater (Utah State). I'm off the wagon again!
On the more positive side of life:
wcbsas was all alone as the Elite Picker of the Week with 8 out of 10. With that solid performance he moved into the group that is 3 back of the overall leader. There are quite a few of you that have a legit chance to win the Pick-em season honors. It looks a lot like the Big 10 West at this point. At the top currently we have djlhuskerfan and swimn4ever with 49 correct, and Ackos and BGRed trailing 2 behind that. Then comes the peleton at 46 picks. But one shining week and any of these guys can vault to the top. There are still 6 solid weeks of contests left. (I won't be doing a bowl game pick'em this year. Its just kind of boring and the games are so spread out.)
