I liked the diamond formation. Don't feel like we ran it nearly enough.
The coolest moment post-Osborne is the Jack Hoffman touchdown. Don't think that is the type of thing you were getting at, but that was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the thread title.

We have the spread formation of it. H back with slot crossing.
A play at michigan where we handed off to burkhead going just outside right tackle / TE, and he optioned to Ameer for the TD. We lost the game, but the michigan coaches were stunned at a play looking like a veer option outa the early 70s.
A play at ohio st about 5 yr ago. It looked like we faked a screen to the left side, and a TE sneaked down the left sideline uncovered, while all the defenders came up to stop the screen. Our TE made a huge gain. Our team looked really good that game. Havent seen that play since

I recall that was often referred to as ”the illegal formation“ in jest as it usually resulted in first downs or more. Loved that formation.
Urban was stunned commenting on that one. Beck got a lot of juice out of that one play, I think.

If we're talking runs, how about Crouch's against Mizzou. I was at that game sitting in the end zone he ran towards. Unreal.
Yep, but that was over 90 yards I believe.
I just loved that run against Wisconsin because he ran about 140 yards and outran everyone, including the F18 that flew overhead earlier before the game.
His speed/acceleration pre-injury was nuts.
