Just need to use "appropriate" 3D versions.I’m pretty sure I predicted this idea awhile ago. Though I though they could do 3D imaging to create lifelike 3D versions of people and put them right in the seats
Haven’t they done a high-res 360 photo in the past? If you could get the lighting conditions right, it would be much more interesting to do some kind of projection than a bunch of cardboard. Think Tupac hologram at Coachella a few years back.

This is a still of that panoramic.Let me expand a bit. I recall them announcing during/after the Oregon game that they were taking some kind of "super max" 360 panorama photo of everyone sitting in the stadium. If you had a graphic file like that, maybe you could just project it onto a screen, etc.
