I always soak my chicken in buttermilk before frying but that is usually just overnight. This recipe advocates soaking it for three days. I'm going to have to try it as I LOVE chicken and waffles, anyway. I actually bought a waffle maker last year when my wife was out of town and I was bored, just to make them.
