B1G Schedule Is Out; Huskers Open 5 Sept vs Rutgers

Iowa gets - PSU, MSU, Maryland and tOSU ... avoids Michigan, Rutgers and Indiana
Wisconsin gets - Maryland, Michigan, Rutgers and Indiana ... avoids tOSU, PSU and MSU
Minnesota gets - Maryland, Michigan, MSU and Indiana ... avoids tOSU, Rutgers and PSU
Nebraska gets - tOSU, Rutgers, MSU and PSU ... avoids Michigan, Maryland and Indiana

Once again the schedule makers give favor to Wisconsin ... avoiding two of the top 3 along with Michigan State. Minnesota misses tOSU and PSU while Iowa and NU have similar schedules.
In addition, Ohio State and Penn State, the two favorites to win the east, only have to play one of the top three teams in the west (Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa) while all other east teams play two or three of the best west teams.

And there we have it, for now. Still a month away (not a parade rainer). Yes, would have been nice to have a little softer schedule, but play them and see Huskers progress. One advantage the Red may have is that PSU and OSU are loaded with potential high draft picks (see Parsons thread) and would not be surprised to see many top players pull a bowl game and sit out the season rather then risk exposure and hurting pro chances.
Wisc, Iowa, Mn, and OSU in a row, thinking the bye week will be well needed.
Guess Mn having Mich, Ia., and Wisc the weeks prior may benefit Huskers.
Too bad the MN and Huskers won't finish the season as panned.

Notice that we play every week thru the OhSU game (with a challenging schedule), while OhSU has a pud schedule with a bye week just before they play us.

To be fair I dont think anyone associated with Ohio State is saying they are lucky to have an off week before they play Nebraska so they have extra time to prepare and get healthy. They would be fine playing us after playing Wisconsin and Penn State back to back.
