Actually Summer camp. Fall starting date, September 22 (equinox)
.Winter time, December 21. Same date first round tourney (CFP).
- CFP seeds 5 thru 12 will play each other in the first round. Higher-seeded teams will play host in their first round games. Seeds 1 thru 4, byes.
- Elite Eight, December 31/January 1. Venues: Fiesta, Peach, Rose and Sugar bowls
- Final Four, January 9/10. Jerry's World (Cotton) and Orange bowls.
- National Championship game, January 20, at Atlanta (Mercedes-Benz stadium)
