Not an indictment to his on the field abilities... he's just not going to have the offers Watts or other guys are going to have, and he will be committed to the in-state school for close to a year by the time final rankings are out. Bet the mortgage he falls out of the Top100 for sure, just the way the game is played. But this is a really solid get.hmmmmm
2. You've got to give a lot of credit to the job Frost, in-state recruiter Barrett Ruud and offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Troy Walters did in recruiting Betts. They had to work hard at developing trust and a strong relationship with Betts and they were able to do just that.
3. The first that that jumps out about Betts is just his overall size. He is a physical specimen at a legit 6-foot-3, 190-pounds. He will immediately become one of the biggest wideouts on Nebraska's roster.
Zavier is listed at 6-3. Last year, he was listed at 6-1. Did he have a growth spurt?BTW He is not real tall but he is certainly taller than any we have signed in some time. Last year our top WR were all under 6.
