Not related, though Manute had more than 10 children.
Manute does have a son in the NBA, however (former Oregon player under Altman). Bol Bol -- plays for Orlando.

Yes and no. If a player is good enough, whats allowed today often wont be.
He's very yoing,needs to fill out,even Shaq was 'skinny' at this age
a guy 190 lbs playing the game back when most players were that size is not the same as a 190 lbs playing todays game.. players are much bigger by a sizable amount.
Shaq was never that skinny in college

Speed always wins, the easiest way to put it. By the same standards, Woodhead would never make it in the NFL.
You put a bigger guy out of his comfort zone, his 'pressure' starts looking like fouls
speed didn't just go away as players got bigger.. players got bigger AND faster!
