There is a really long stretch of tough games early on that includes in order; Creighton, Long Beach State, Stanford, Kentucky, Ohio State, Minnesota, and Purdue. Almost all those teams will be in the top 25, and at least 3 of them probably will be in the top 10. That is a brutal stretch of games.
In conference, we play Wisconsin, PSU, and Minnesota twice. Those three schools play each other only once. So among the likely top 4 conference teams, NU has 6 games and those other three schools have 4. It will make winning the conference especially difficult this year.
Didn't this happen 10 years ago?

Wait till 2024 when they add UCLA and USC, then it's going to be even tougher.
