Looking at the 2009 class. Very interesting perspective on why Huskers are playing with so much youth.
Thoughts:
Only 11 of the 20 recruits ever had significant playing contribution in their Husker career. 4 of those players exhausted their eligibility last year, thus 7 of 20 for 2013. That's a fairly huge recruiting wiff.
Note the 4 that completed their eligibility in 2013, were all mutli-year starters and 3 of the 4 made NFL rosters at some point.
Martin -- Oh the possibilities if he had a redshirted his Freshmen year. Image the pass rush possibilities with Gregory on the other end.
