Ive missed news of turning Avery and Williams away. Can anyone elaborate on this. Is this true? Why?
So something today, that said we were still on for Avery, just don't remember where or who.
We are still recruiting him in case a spot opens up.

There is a school of thought out there that if we had room Avery would have already committed to us. Basically have to wait for some spots to open up so we are basically telling him to hang tight. Tough to do with someone so highly sought after, but we have a few things working in our favor.
I'm starting to believe in Ronnie Perkins or Judge Culpepper in Husker Red.

I am very glad this coaching staff didn't listen to the naysayers who said it was just too difficult to recruit top players to Nebraska these days.
