Do we have good backups to AM?

The numbers are in Gebbia's favor to do what he did. It just doesn't make sense for us from the fans perspective, which we are so I get the argument. Even Clemson has guys transfer out.

Fans may just have to get used to it if we keep recruiting top recruits.

There's 1 coming in this spring. Also who knows how another year in the program will help the guys behind him. Are they as good as him. Heck no or they would start ahead of him. That is different then they stink. Additionally the only backup we saw get any real time. Got it prior to the OL gelling.

Our backups behind AM don’t “stink” and they have some game playing experience. That is rarely going to happen moving forward. With only one spot on the field and no rotations like at other positions, QBs transfer more frequently. It will be nice to have a stable of QBs with a scholarship behind AM this year where he can lower his shoulder and punish the defense in 2019 unlike in 2018 where he was our only scholarship guy to start the year so he had to be cautious.

Going to be fun to watch.
