Some rain showers in the Omaha area currently. By tomorrow (Sunday) it will be dry through at least Tuesday. And humidity will be fairly low. Sunday through Tuesday will be really nice days for the CWS. Plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures for June.
Humidity will return on Wednesday and remain into next weekend. Some hotter potential Wednesday and Thursday as well. Rain chances also will return for the mid-to-late-week period.

Cal St. Fullerton pissed that one down their legs.
Indeed. After going up 3-0 after 1 and 5-1 after 4, the Beavers chipped away. All while holding Fullerton hitless for the final 5 1/3 innings (after the starter was pulled). Not going to get a much better chance than that to beat OSU.

I think that I can safely say that I have never seen someone score from 1st base on a strike out.
