Congrads to Coach Carl Pelini....:) Oh and good luck....he will need it....looks like about a $120K pay raise to boot....

Now lets hope Bo has Mike Stoops signed up to take Carl's place...:)

Pelini, who will be introduced as the program's second coach on Monday, is now in charge of rebuilding a program that has been in decline for four years, bottoming out this season.

Pelini and FAU have agreed to a five-year, $2.5 million deal, according to a source. The final step is approval by the FAU board of trustees, which will come Monday morning. At that time he officially will accept the offer.

Pelini, 46, will arrive after four years as the defensive coordinator at Nebraska, where his brother, Bo, is the head coach. The expectations will be low. FAU has had three losing seasons in a row, a first in the program's 11 years, and it will finish last in the nation with an average of 248.8 yards of offense per game.

Look for Pelini to blow up the offense, switching from a pro style to the spread.

I wonder if he brings Shawn down as the OC? If so Joe may come along as well.

Shawn may want to wait around to see what happens with Louisville's current HC.... Charlie Strong is linked to being considered for several openings
