I cant think of anyone. Was there any bright spot at all on defense? Was there even one player who stood out?

Buford was probably the guy who blew the coverage on Northwestern’a first TD.Buford showed some flashes.
Not a problem. We will continually execute successful on-side kicks and the other team will never get the ball!NW figures to be among the worst offenses that we will play. Just wait until we go up against better QBs and WRs.
Here is the problem with that play. Not once could you see the ball in his possession once his knee hit. You also can’t see it in the defenders hands. By rule you can’t overturn it.The play of the defense was the most disappointing thing I took from the game. No pressure on the qb indeed. I must add I was also disgusted by the failure of the replay officials to overturn the so called fumble as I believe his knee was down before he lost the ball.
Yeah, if it had not been called a fumble it couldn’t have been overturned the other way either. Here is the problem with that play. Not once could you see the ball in his possession once his knee hit. You also can’t see it in the defenders hands. By rule you can’t overturn it.
Yeah... Honestly we all should've know the pass rush was going to suck after all the hype.We had zero pressure today and that was supposed to be the strength of teams
