Yeah they started doing it for a program called Hearts Apart before I retired from the Air Force for the kids whose patents were deployed. Since I did my deployments they got all of that. Expanded to assisted living homes etc. Putting on the makeup etc is a lot of work. My wife writes the skits they do and of course they do things like balloon animals.

Very cool. My Dad was in the Air Force for 25 and he loved every minute of it. I work at UNMC, and pre-COVID-19, one of the physicians would regularly put on the “clown suit” to entertain the kids in the hospital. I always thought that would be a great way to brighten their day.
