Maybe with all of OSU's opt-outs this season, we'd have a better chance. Besides, it would only be fitting to play OSU since they were the first ones to join NU in standing up to the stuffed shirts

Short answer... too many 62-3, 55-14, and 48-7 type of results in the last 5 years. As a West division team, we have had well more than our fair share of tOSU.

I like having OSU on the schedule regularly. OU made Nebraska better. With some stability and the right staff, which I think we have, OSU can do the same.

The previous revised schedule was no picnic. Those non-conference games REALLY would have helped our win column. This will be brutal but we gotta play.

I think the 2s against 2s etc. should be played on each night during championship week, starting at the bottom and working up. If the TV guys won't buy that, then start on Thursday night, and Friday night and on Saturday play the rest except for the championship game that would be on Sunday night.

That assumes a two week break between end of season and the Championship. Don't know if that could work.

I personally hope we play Penn State. They were originally on our schedule (in Lincoln) -- and that's the one of the three East division powers that we've played least recently.
